Who we are

The Landfall Writers’ Group (LWG) was formed in 2015 with a diverse group of writers all living in the residential community known as Landfall in Wilmington NC.  The purpose of the group is to establish a collaborative forum to share ideas and to provide constructive feedback in a positive venue.  We strive to improve our work through guest speakers, learning segments at the beginning of each session and reviewing writing techniques at our bimonthly meetings.

We sponsor workshops, participate in book sales, and attend writing retreats.  We also have a very good time with lively discussions.

LWG has published 5 group books, all collections of short pieces written by the members.  Individual writers have now published over 40 books and written numerous magazine articles.  The content covers fiction, non-fiction, memoirs,  humor, sports, gardening, family history, children’s books, medical and self-help books.
