Being retired orthopedic surgeons, we are often asked for our opinions about bone and joint problems and what to do about them. Maybe it’s that people want free advice, but we think the frequency of being asked more likely indicates a general hunger for more knowledge from trusted sources. The Internet is loaded with information, but what is good and what is bad? We are flattered and happy to help on a one-on-one basis, but believe that we can reach many more people by providing these books. That is why we have written them.
This is the sixth in the MyBones series of small books for non-physicians authored by board-certified orthopaedic surgeons. Each book focuses on a specific region: neck, back, hip, knee, and shoulder and elbow along with several other topics that may be helpful to you. A book about the ankle and foot will follow this one. Please search on Amazon.com from time to time to see if a new MyBones book addressing your area of concern has become available.
